7-1 Image Folder Window

The Image Folder Window displays all images that are included in the selected folder. Simply drag and drop an image anywhere onto a page spread or into a layout template on the page.

 

7-1-1 Basic Menu

New Folder - Opens a new image folder window.
Go to Subfolders - View and select a subfolder or the parent folder of the current image folder.
Select Folder - Opens a browser window to search for and select desired image folder.
Sort Options - Sorts image files by file name, file size or captured date.
Ascending Order/Decending Order - Sorts the image files alphabetically either ascending or decending.

7-1-2 Right-Click

Edit With - Gives a list of options of applications to open the image in for editing.
Get Info - Gives information about the image.

7-1-3 Options Menu

Reveal in Finder - Shows the image folder in a finder window.
Thumbnail Size - Select thumbnail size of small, medium or large.
Sort Options - Sorts image files by file name, file size or captured date.
Sort Direction - Sorts the image files alphabetically either ascending or decending.
Refresh - Updates the image folder to its current condition.
Get Info - Gives information about the image.
Open Recent - Shows recent folders to reopen.

 

7-2 Pages Window

Thumbnails are displayed for each page spread. Double-click on a thumbnail or right-click and select 'Open' to open the spread. You can have multiple spreads open at one time.

 

 

7-2-1 Right-Click and Options Menu

Open - Open selected spread.
Copy - Copy the contents of the selected spread.
Paste - Paste the contents of the copied spread.
Copy Guides - Copy the Guides found on the selected spread.
Paste Guides - Paste the Guides copied from a spread.
Clear - Remove the contents of the spread.
Export - Export the document as an ASUKABOOK Maker page.
Replace - Replace with Page file or JPEG file.
Save as Layout Template - Save the layout as a template to reuse. The template will be displayed in on your Templates Menu.
Close - Close the Spread Window.

7-3 Templates Window

The Templates Window displays a list of layout templates available to use, both default and custom saved templates. Simply drag and drop a template onto a spread and drag images into the layout areas to complete the layout.

7-3-1 Basic Menu

Select Collections - Select the collection of templates to view.
Undo Templates - Removes any templates found on the active spread.
Flip Horizontal - Flips the templates in the template window horizontally.
Flip Vertical - Flips the templates in the template window vertically.

7-3-2 Right-Click

Delete - Deletes the template from the template options.

7-3-3 Options Menu

Reallocate image to new templates - ??????????
Flip Horizontal - Flips the templates in the template window horizontally.
Flip Vertical - Flips the templates in the template window vertically.
Undo Templates - Removes any templates found on the active spread.
Thumbnail Size - Select thumbnail size of small, medium or large.
Collections - Select the collection of templates to view.
Reveal in Finder - Shows template files in the finder window.
Refresh - Refresh to default orientation.
Delete - Deletes the template from the template options.

7-4 Sloppy Borders Window

The Sloppy Borders Window displays the Sloppy Borders available for free in ASUKABOOK Maker. These Sloppy Borders are courtesy of Kevin Kubota, Kubota Image Tools. Simply drag and drop a Sloppy Border on an image to apply.

Color Picker - Select the desired color of the Sloppy Border before applying it to an image.
Select Collections - Filter the list to view all or by heavy, mids or thin.
Undo Sloppy Borders - Removes selected Sloppy Border from the image.

7-4-2 Right-Click

Delete - Deletes the Sloppy Border from the Sloppy Border options.

7-4-3 Options Menu

7-5 Mask Window

The Masks Window displays all masks available for free from ASUKABOOK Maker. Simply drag and drop a mask onto an image to apply.

Select Collections - Filter the list.
Undo Mask - Removes selected Mask from the image.

7-5-2 Right-Click

Delete - Deletes the Sloppy Border from the Sloppy Border options.

7-5-3 Options Menu

Undo Mask - Removes selected Mask from the image.
Thumbnail Size - Select thumbnail size of small, medium or large.
Collections - Filter the list.
Reveal in Finder - Shows the Mask in the finder window.
Refresh - Refresh to default.
Delete - Deletes the mask from the mask options.
