Ruler/Guide/Grid

Vertical and horizontal rulers, as well as guides and a grid are available to display or to be hidden when designing.

Ruler

Rulers can be used to align and/or evenly distribute images in the design. Although inch is used as the default measurement unit, you may choose the unit of measurement (inch, pixel, mm or %). You may also change the initial origin point of the rulers.

Guide

You can drag a guide into the design area by dragging from the ruler. Guides can be very useful in aligning images, text and shapes in a design. Objects will snap to the guides if the option is selected in your preferences. Guides can easily be moved and deleted at any time.

Grid

When you have selected to show a grid, lines are drawn on the screen at equal intervals like graph paper. You can gain perspective from the grid for a balanced design. Images, text and shapes will also snap to the grid.
