Exporting Files and Order Process

There are different quality and types of files to export for either proofing or placing an order.
EXPORT AS PAGE FILE
This process saves the open page file with extension abpage, an AsukaBook Maker application format.
  1. Go to Document > Export > Export as Page file.
  2. Select save-to location.
  3. Click Save.
Replace with a Page File
This process allows you to import a page file, previously exported, into the new design project.
  1. Go to Document > Replace > Replace with Page file.
  2. Navigate to and select the Page file with extension abpage.
  3. Click Open.
  4. Click OK.

EXPORT AS LOW-RES JPG FILE
This process saves a low resolution of the open page file with extension jpg.
  1. Go to Document > Export > Export as Low-Res JPG file.
  2. Select image quality.
  3. Select save-to location.
  4. Click Save.
Replace with a Low-Res JPG File This process allows you to import a Low-Res JPG file into the new design project.
  1. Go to Document > Replace > Replace with Low-Res JPG file.
  2. Navigate to and select the Low-Res JPG file with extension jpg.
  3. Click Open.
  4. Click OK.
Export All Pages as Low-Res JPG File This feature saves a low resolution of all of the pages with extension jpg.
  1. Go to Document > Export > Export All Pages as Low-Res JPG files.
  2. Select image quality.
  3. Select save-to location.
  4. Click Save.
  • All exported files are saved into a folder labeled AsukaBook Low-Res JPEGs.
Replace All Pages with JPG File This feature allows you to import multiple JPG files into the new design project.
  1. Go to Document > Replace > Replace All Pages with JPG file.
  2. Navigate to and select the folder with all JPG files.
  3. Click Open.
  • Low-Res JPG file cannot be used to place an order.
  • Note that imported jpg files will fill all pages (one file per spread) in consecutive order, including the cover and case files, if available.

EXPORT AS PREVIEW PDF
This process saves a low resolution pdf files with extension pdf.
  1. Go to Document > Export > Export as Preview PDF file.
  2. Enter file name.
  3. Select save-to location.
  4. Click Save.
  • Preview PDF file cannot be used to place an order.

EXPORT ORDER FILE
This process saves a high resolution PDF file of your layout with extension pdf, and includes an order form with all selected book details and quantity.
  1. Go to Tools > Export Order File.
  2. Click on Export Order File.
  3. Enter Book Details.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Select save-to location (Desktop is preferred).
  6. Enter file name or leave default name.
  7. Click Save.
  • REVIEW the exported PDF file at 100% scale for accuracy, quality, color & spelling prior to placing an order.
  • Find your User ID/Activation Code in your welcome email, or contact Customer Care for further assistance.
Place Order
  1. Log into your AsukaBook account.
  2. Click on the Upload PDF File button
  3. Follow steps as prompted to place order
  • Use this export file to place an order.
